Ahantaman Rural Bank office complex commissioned

Agona-Nkwanta (W/R) March 22, GNA- Mr Kojo Thompson, a founding member of the Ahantaman Rural Bank, has commissioned a 1.6 billion- cedi Head office complex of the Bank at Agona-Nkwanta in the Ahanta West District. He called on the people to strive for development, adding, “Without sacrifice and loyalty, many government projects and programmes would never be successful and the economic development of the country would be delayed”.

Mr Thompson also appealed to them to contribute their quota to the growth of the bank and avoid attitudes that tended to retard the progress of the financial institution.

“You must stop complaining and the use of abusive language on officials and rather adopt positive attitudes that would assist the growth of the bank and businesses”, he said.

In a speech read on his behalf, Mr Emmanuel K. Kwapong, Managing Director of the ARB Apex Bank, said a computer software that would facilitate the computerisation of all the 120 rural banks nationwide had been procured.
