Ahanta West District Assembly gives assembly members motorbikes

Agona-Nkwanta (W/R), Dec..18,GNA-The Ahanta West District Assembly on Friday presented motorbikes estimated at 34,516 Ghana Cedis to 51 out of the 54 members of the assembly at Agona-Nkwanta. The presentation took place at the Open Day of the Assembly aimed at highlighting the achievements and projects undertaken by the tye body.

Mr. Joseph Dofoyenah, the District Chief Executive, who made the presentation, also commissioned an 87,375 Ghana Cedi office annex of the Assembly.

In a speech, he said the Assembly bought the motorbikes with its share of the District Assembly Common Fund.

Mr. Dofoyenah said the motorbikes are to assist assembly members to frequently visit communities in their electoral areas and interact with the people.
