Ahafo-Ano South DCE gets the nod

Mankranso (Ash.), July 16, GNA – The Ahafo-Ano South District Assembly on Friday endorsed Mr Kwaku Obeng-Boateng as District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area. He polled 58 votes out of the total of 67 votes cast, representing 84.4 percent.

The Electoral Commission (EC) supervised the election that was held at Mankranso.

Mr Sampson Kwaku Boafo, who addressed the assembly after the vote, drew attention to the need for the assembly members to ensure high level of co-operation, unity and mutual understanding in order to accelerate the pace of development of the area. Mr Obeng-Boateng on his part, pledged to work diligently to help uplift the socio-economic lives of the people. July 16 05
