Ahafo-Ano North District Assembly approves estimates

Tepa (Ash), April 12, GNA- The Ahafo-Ano North District Assembly on Monday approved its budgetary estimates of 9.427 billion cedis for this year.

Out of the amount, the central government would provide 8.760 billion cedis while the assembly intends to collect about 667.340 million cedis from its traditional sources. The assembly members appealed to the Finance and Administration sub-committee to furnish them with the trial balance at the next meeting.

Nana Eric Agyemang Prempeh, the Presiding Member, told the members that work on the district’s Mutual Health Insurance Scheme was on course.

He appealed to the Ministry of Health to come out with the relevant Legislative Instrument (LI) on the scheme to enable it to take off.
