Agyarko exposes Alan’s GAKE lies

Collins Boakye Kyeremateng Agyarko, 2012 campaign manager for two-time presidential candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has strongly refuted claims that Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten immensely supported Nana Addo in the 2012 presidential polls with logistics and monetary aid.

He describes the assertions as “malicious” and “unfortunate” since no form of assistance came from the acclaimed “Cash Man” [Allan Kyeremanten] to help the campaign of Akufo-Addo.

The New Patriotic Party [NPP] kingpin was reacting to accusations from new pressure group, Get Alan Kyeremanten Elected (GAKE), that flagbearer hopeful Nana Akufo-Addo was being ungrateful despite support the former US Ambassador, Mr. Kyeremanten gave to his [Nana Addo’s] campaign in 2012.

GAKE claims Nana Addo’s campaign was given at least 40 brand-new pick-up vehicles and five [5] million dollars to help in his bid to unseat the NDC.

But sadly, assets the leader of the group, Katakyie Kwame Opoku Agyemang, Mr. Kyeremanten was sidelined in most of the opposition party’s major rallies in 2012.

“At Mantse Agbonaa, for instance, Lord Commey, the man who nearly caused the lynching of our current party National Chairman, Paul Afoko during the 2007 NPP Congress, made sure Alan never spoke on that day,” he said.

However, in an interview with Okay FM, the 2012 campaign manager for Nana Akufo-Addo, obviously fed up with the constant claims from GAKE, rubbished the assertion and quizzed the group to provide evidence.

“They [GAKE] should be bold enough to tell who Alan Kyeremanten gave the cars and the money to. I am stating clearly as a matter of fact…no one gave anything to support Nana Addo’s campaign. They just want to please themselves. Alan Kyeremanten never gave 40 pick-ups and money to the campaign team….They should simply disclose who among the campaign team the logistics and financial support was handed over to…They [GAKE] should not tarnish the image of Nana Addo,” he said.

He further dared the group to publicly reveal who the vehicles and the monetary support was given to since his [Boakye Kyeremanteng Agyarko’s] office did not received nothing whatsoever as being claimed by the group.
