AGT organises free health screening exercise

The Madina Branch of the African Guaranty Trust Microfinance Limited (AGT), on Saturday, organised a free health screening exercise, as part of activities to commemorate its 5th anniversary.

The screening exercise, which included eyes problems such as glaucoma and cataract, blood pressure, diabetes and Body Mass Index, attracted more than 300 people mainly traders, was led by Dr Rachel Akosa, Opthalmologist.

Mr Humphrey Kwabena Tetteh, the local Branch Manager of AGT told the Ghana News Agency that the organisation has about 14 branches scattered around the country with more than 30,000 customers.

He said the health screening exercise was part of the corporate social responsibilities of AGT.

Mr Tetteh appealed to the public especially the traders to save with the company in order to facilitate their business.
