Agona West CLOGSAG elect new executives

The Agona West Municipal members of Civil and Local Government Staff Service Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG) has elected Mr Charles Nkrumah, as Chairman.

Mr Nkrumah, who is the Municipal Information Service Director and two others, will administer the affairs of the association for the next two years. The others are Mr Daniel Sackey, Branch Secretary and Ms Gladys Asiamah as Organiser.

Mr Nkrumah was the only candidate at the close of filling of the nomination and was elected chairman in an election conducted and supervised by the Central Regional Executives of the Association.

Mr Nkrumah on behalf of the elected executives thanked the members of the Association for the trust reposed in them and said they would work in accordance with the Association’s Constitution and Rules towards the development of the welfare of members.

He said, they would need the support and contributions from the members to forge ahead as a united association to achieve success in all endeavours.

Mr Peter Antwi-Boasiako, Municipal Co-ordinating Director, urged the new executive to let transparency, selfless, accountability and probity be their tool to strengthen the trust reposed in them for effective development.
