AFRICAN GROWTH OPPORTUNITY ACT (AGOA)/GHANA DAY

As a Prelude to the upcoming Sixth U.S. – Sub-Saharan Africa Trade and Economic Cooperation Forum, otherwise referred to as the 6Th African Growth Opportunity Act (AGOA)Forum, which will be hosted by Ghana – Accra, from July 16-19, 2007, the Ghana Embassy, in Washington D. C, will be organizing an AGOA/Ghana Day at the Chancery, on Friday, July 6Th, 2007.

The purpose of the AGOA/Ghana Day is to showcase Ghana’s Investment Opportunities, given information about AGOA and an up—date on preparations made so far towards the upcoming Forum. Admission to the event is free and it would be an opportunity to sample Delicious Ghanaian Cuisine. The Embassy is, therefore, extending an invitation to all Ghanaian/US Business Entrepreneurs, Potential Investors and Institutions to participate in the event.
