AG donates blood to disaster victims

The Assemblies of God, Ghana, End Time Revival Centre, has mobilised its members to donate blood to the June 3 Accra disaster victims in critical conditions at various hospitals in the capital.

The event which took place at the church’s auditorium located at Adentan, Accra, brought together a number of its youth, elderly and other residents within the neighbourhood.

Head pastor of the church, Rev Francis Nyarko, told DAILY GUIDE in an interview that the event was held in fulfillment of the physical mission of the church to show compassion and love to the vulnerable in times of need.

Rev Francis assured that at least 100 members out of the church’s huge membership will make themselves available for the exercise.

An official of the National Blood Services, Patricia Odotei, expressed appreciation to the Assemblies of God Church for mobilising its members to donate to the blood bank.

She appealed to members of the public to be bold and disabuse their minds of any fears they might be having in relation to volunteering to donate blood to save a dying person.
