African Indigenous Churches mourns late President Mills

Africa Indigenous Churches, on Thursday expressed their words of condolence to the former first Lady, Dr. Naadu Mills, the entire family of the late President John Evans Atta Mills and Ghanaians as a whole.

In a statement to the Ghana News Agency signed by the Reverend Isaac Anaman, General Secretary of the organisation, said Ghana had lost a unique statesman and an intelligent person, saying “late President Mills was a man whose life was filled to the top with the favour of God”.

The statement said the Council prays that the death of President Mills would promote unity and peace in Ghana.**
