Afra Airline CEO’s Passport Returned

Ghana Immigration service has returned the passport of Luke Butler, CEO of Afra airlines.

Last Friday, the Deputy Director of Immigration, Mr. Gyamfi, on the orders of the Chief of Staff, Mr. Kwadwo Mpiani, confiscated Mr. Butler’s passport.

The local media, together with the Australian’s lawyers pointed out the illegal nature of what the immigraton authority did, i.e. the intended deportation, cancelling of visa, holding an Australian passport and frustrating investment and employment of Ghanaian staff.
