AFAG congratulates Mahama

The Alliance For Accountable Governance has called on Ghanaians to unite especially as the election petition is over.

They have also congratulated President Dramani Mahama for being affirmed by the Supreme Court as the winner of the 2012 December elections and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for exhibiting maturity after the final verdict was declared.

Congratulation President John Mahama!

The Alliance for Accountable Governance (AFAG) congratulates President John Mahama following the Supreme Court Verdict of Thursday the 29th of August 2013. We hope the President will take steps to ensure a one Ghana united for development.

AFAG also congratulates Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the maturity displayed in calling to congratulate President Mahama. Ghana is proud of you. You are a true statesman.

Fellow Ghanaians, what we need is a united Ghana for peace. AFAG will however add its voice on all issues that will arise later and may border on the content of the judgment. Our future advocacy will also involve the strengthening of Ghana’s electoral commission for a sustainable democratic process.
