The Asantehene Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II purchased three cars from the aforementioned company. The first of the purchased cars were delivered to him at Manhyia Palace.

Taking delivery of one of the vehicles from the company under Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo of the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana in Kumasi on Wednesday, the Asantehene advised government to promote the local industry.

He said if it was possible, Ghana should avoid the importation of cars from outside the country and rather help promote and market the local Kantanka cars.

The remaining two of the vehicles, each costing GH ¢150,000 ordered by the Asantehene according to graphic.com.gh report would be delivered soon.

He said the brand of vehicles manufactured the Kantanka Automobile Company could match-up to any brand in the world.

He said the vehicle under the brand ‘Kantanka Otumfuo’ was his way of encouraging the Apostle and to rally Ghanaians and indeed, the government to patronise the product.

The vehicle is only one of many innovations and inventions the industrialist cum the preacherman has produced in recent times.

The CEO of the Kantanka Group of companies, Mr Kwadwo Sarfo Jnr, said the company has instituted measures to replace and repair the vehicle per international standards.

He expressed the hope that Otumfuo’s endorsement would help promote the use of the Kantanka vehicle and make it attractive to Ghanaians to patronise.

Meanwhile, in a post on social media, the daughter of Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo; Adwoa Sarfo encouraged Ghanaians to follow in the King’s stead and purchase more made in Ghana goods, adding that the President was next.
