Adweso-Mile 50 seeks Government support

Koforidua, August 30, GNA – Mr Ernest Schwarz, Manager of ‘Ermdors Restaurant’ at Adweso Mile-50 in the New Juaben Municipality, on Monday appealed to the Government to encourage investors to invest in the Health and Transport sectors in the area and the entire country.

Speaking in an interview with the GNA in Koforidua, he indicated that it would benefit the country if the government would encourage private investors to build hospitals as well as rehabilitate roads, especially in the rural areas to alleviate the plight of the people.

Mr Schwarz observed that majority of rural dwellers were dying prematurely due to the lack of accessible roads and hospitals.

He urged the government to offer incentive package for health workers in the rural areas to retain them there as well as attract others to work in deprived communities.
