Adjei Sowah secures full endorsement as Accra mayor

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s nominee for the Chief Executive Officer of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) has been approved Thursday.

Members of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly(AMA) voted overwhelmingly to secure Mohammed Adjei Sowah, the two thirds majority he needed to sail through as MCE.

There was no opposition to his position, as all 109 members of the Assembly voted YES for the nominee in the polls held earlier Thursday.

Members say he is the best man for the job.

Mr. Adjei Sowah is promising a clean city in the wake of his victory.
