Adenta Constituency of NPP elects executives

Accra, Oct. 24, GNA – Mr Richard Obiri Yeboa, the newly elected New Patriotic Party Chairman for Adenta Constituency, has said his vision is to mobilize more support for the Party in the constituency to enable it to win both the presidential election and parliamentary seat in the 2008 elections.

Mr Yeboa, who is a businessman, said: “I will also use my experience in business to help to run the Party at the constituency and regional levels to ensure massive win for our great Party”. He was speaking to journalists after the constituency election, which returned three executive officers unopposed.

They are Mr Adjei Adjetey, First Vice Chairman, Mr Lawrence Acquah, Assistant Secretary, and Mr Adjei Akuoko, Youth Organizer. Other officers elected included Mr Kwadwo Adu, Second Vice Chairman, Aja Wentum, Secretary, Henry Obeng, Organizer, Kofi Agyekum, Treasurer and Mrs Patience Tetteh, Women’s Organizer.

The Member of Parliament for the area, Mr Kwadjo Opare-Hammond advised members to put behind them all misunderstandings, acrimony and insults, which might have ensued during the campaign period and to forge ahead in unity.
