Addo Kufuor mourns Asantehemaa

The Former Defence minister in the erstwhile Kufuor administration, Dr Addo Kufuor has visited the Manhyia Palace to mourn with the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II following the demise of the Asantehene Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II.

He signed the book of condolence which was opened today.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) which is yet to visit the Manhyia Palace to console the family has suspended their campaign in the region.

Meanwhile, executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) led by the Chief of Staff Julius Debrah have suspended their health walk in the region because of the ban on noise making as a result of the death of the Queen mother.
