Ada is a profitable tourist location – Dokutsu

Ada (GAR, Aug. 6, GNA – Mr Jonathan Dokutsu, Secretary of Ada Traditional Council, has said the Dangme East District had tourist sites and the capacity to attract tourists to generate revenue to the tourism industry.

“Ada has numerous tourist sites, the Songor Lagoon, Okor Forest, an estuary, Ada Foah beach, vast islands, serene beaches and creative spots that are attractive to potential visitors,” he said.

Mr Dokutsu said this in an interview with the GNA after the management of Tigo, a telecommunication company, had presented a cheque for GH¢2,000 and branded souvenirs towards the celebration of the Asafotufiam Festival of the chiefs and people of Ada.

He cautioned the people, especially the youth, to be disciplined and to avoid social vices and help to project the image of the area.
