Acute water shortage hits Senya Beraku

Senya Beraku (C/R) March 16, GNA- An acute water shortage has hit Senya Beraku and it surrounding communities since the past three months, forcing the people to patronise unhygienic water sources.

Mr Anderson Kwame Onassis, Chairman of the Senya Urban Council who made this known to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview appealed to the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) to solve the problem as a matter of urgency.

Mr John Mensah, Winneba District Manager of the Company told the the town.

He said the intensive rehabilitation programme embarked upon by the GWCL would help resolve the problem very soon.
