Acute Fuel Shortages Hits Accra

The story is however different in the Regions as there have been no reports of such shortage outside the Greater Accra Region.

In an interview with JOY FM, the Chief Executive of the Tema Oil Refinery, Dr Yaw Donkor explained that the incidence is the result of the short supply of fuel over the weekend. According to him, one of the country’s suppliers of fuel who was expected to deliver multiple consignments to the refinery last week could, failed to do so on schedule.
