Acts Conference 2007 by Trinity Baptist Church – Toronto

Trinity Baptist church recently organised Acts Conference 2007 at the Trinity Church Hall. The conference attracted people from all walks of life. It was led by seasoned men of God including Rev. Bobby Hill, Rev. Jeff Steffel, Rev. Herbert Addo, and Papa Dennis Jones. The theme “open the flood gates of heaven” was truly manifested as the floodgates were opened and the church flooded with prophesies, words of wisdom and knowledge, and people experienced God’s healing power, Holy Spirit baptism and blessings.

During the conference the men of God taught and shared uplifting messages and lessons from the word of God to the delegates. In the opening sermon Rev. Bobby Hill spoke about running to win. He said we need to run the full race and as such we must not loose sight or focus but run the race and receive the crown the Lord has set aside for those who run to win.

Rev. Jeff Steffel pointed out that if Christ came to serve then we also ought to serve the body of Christ. He stressed that as Christians we have to set good examples in our communities and serve well as Joseph served his masters well even in captivity.

Also Papa Dennis Jones emphasised that we tend to go ahead of God instead of allowing the Almighty God to direct our path. He explained that it is important to wait until God says its time. He also said the difference between the chosen and the called is patience and that we must be content with what God has entrusted in our hands.

In his closing remarks Rev. Herbert Addo stressed the need to stay together as Christians and serve our master with all humility. The conference was officially brought to an end with a closing prayer by Rev. Nana Amoakohene (Host Pastor) on Sunday.
