Activist joins fray for NPP Regional youth organiser

Wenchi (B/A) Oct. 14 GNA – Mr. Kwame Sarah-Mensah, a 35 year old New Patriotic Party (NPP) activist from Wenchi in the Brong-Ahafo Region has decided to contest as the Regional youth organizer of the party and to join the Regional Campaign Team to help the party to win power in the 2008 general elections.

Mr. Sarah-Mensah, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Wenchi on Wednesday that it has being his concern to contribute towards the activities and programmes of the party and that he would be able to do that when he joins the Regional executives of the party. He announced some of his political records as belonging to the Danquah Busia’s club during the 1992 and also belonging to the campaign team of the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Wenchi, Mr. Alhaji Bamba in 1996.

He served as the Wenchi East Constituency youth organizer in 2000 and also became the campaign leader of the MP for Wenchi, Professor Gyan Baafour who won the seat for NPP.

He said if he should be given the nod, he would do well to work assiduously with the other executives and ensure that all the parliamentary seats lost to the party during the 2004 elections in the Region were taken over. Oct. 14 05
