Active Cares donates to Kwakwaduam Association Inc. of New York

Active Cares Organization has donated $500.00 to Kwakwaduam Association Inc. of New York to support the activities of the Association particularly its Youth and Global Outreach programs.

Presenting the check on behalf of the organization, Rodney Ayew of the Finance Department said that he made the application on behalf of Kwakwaduam Association because of his personal involvement with Kwakwaduam and because he was impressed with the activities of the Association. He said the Charity Cares is the Charitable Community based activity of Active International founded in 1977. He said it is designed to support financial and otherwise those charitable activities and charitable organizations important to employees, clients and suppliers. The program spurs community involvement on the part of employees and allows Active to play a corporate citizen role in support of those programs. Receiving the donation on behalf of Kwakwaduam, the President, Dr. Kwame Aniapam Boafo said he was immensely grateful to Active Cares and for the confidence it has in Kwakwaduam and the recognition it has given to Association and promised that every cent will be used to pursue the mission of the organization. He said Kwakwaduam is committed to the ideals of its mission and will continue to work for the service of the community and implored other donors to support the association.

Kwakwaduam is a community based Non-Profit Organization whose mission is to organize activities to enhance the socio-economic, educational, health, cultural and financial aspects of its members and the community and to extend the community and to extend the same to Ghana and Africa in general.
