Accra Regional Chamber of Commerce holds its monthly meeting

Accra, June 10, GNA – The Accra Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ARCCI) on Wednesday organized its monthly meeting for its members who were schooled on how to improve their businesses. Representatives from Unibank Ghana Limited, Ghana Private Sector Development Facility for SMEs, which is an initiative of the Italian government and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, addressed the members on how to access products from the various institutions.

Mr. Samuel Sakyi Hyke, the representative from Unibank appealed to them to access the products of the bank “since we have a considerable interest of the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) at heart.” Mr. Hyke mentioned e- banking, Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) services, Unicar, Personal loan, Unichurch loan and Unifund, which is the hybrid of current and saving accounts as some of the products of the bank.

Mr. Fabio Tabbo, Co-operation Expert of the Ghana Private Sector Development Facility for SMEs, appealed to the members to access loans offered under the project in order to boost their businesses. He however told them that 70 percent of the loan given to clients should be used to buy products from Italy or of Italian origin. 10 June 09
