Accra bourse inches up

Accra, Sept. 7, GNA – The main index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) inched up on Monday as the bourse continues its steady rise, with the All-Share Index gaining 5.15 points to close trading at 6,481.89 points.

Change for the year was also better at -37.86 per cent while market capitalisation improved at GH¢16,050.96 million. Traded volumes began the week at 349,700 shares. On the broader market, there were two price changes – both positive.

Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited was GH¢0.01 better at GH¢1.30 while UT Financial Services also gained GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.18.
