Assin Foso(C/R), Aug. 3, GNA- Joana Owusu, a seven- year- old pupil, who was knocked down by the convoy of the Vice-President, at Assin Foso at the weekend, is recovering from her injuries. Joana a class two pupil who was rushed to the St Francis Xavier Hospital, at Assin Foso, unconscious is said to be responding to treatment.
Mrs Agnes Mensah a nurse at the emergency ward where the patient has been kept for medical observation told the Ghana News Agency that she could now talk. The accident occurred when the convoy of Vice- President Alhaji Aliu Mahama was leaving the town after joining in the celebration of Emancipation Day.
