Accident victim dies at Effia Nkwanta

Half Assini (W/R), Aug. 8, GNA – Kodwo Erzoah, a 25-year old man at Half Assini, died at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital in Sekondi, following a serious injury he sustained after being knocked down by a motor bike on Saturday.

Two of the three boys on the bike who have not yet been identified, are in a semi-conscious state at the Half Assini Government Hospital.

The Half Assini Police said the third person whose name was only given as Ndede, from New Kabenlasuazo is still on admission at the Effia Nkwanta Hospital.

The police said on August 6, Ndede and two friends on a motor bike were riding through the principal streets of Half Assini at a top speed.

He said during the ride, the bike veered off the road and knocked down Erzoah who was buying food at the roadside.

The Police said Erzoah who received serious injures, was rushed to the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital but died after admission.

His body has been deposited at the mortuary of the hospital for the post-mortem examination.
