Accident kills two at Krofrom

Two persons have been confirmed dead and seven others severely injured after a vehicle they were in somersaulted at Krofrom in Kumasi.

The Mercedes-Benz cargo truck, with registration number AS 1454-P, was transporting over 20 artisans from the Suame Magazine to a funeral.

The driver of the vehicle was said to be driving at top speed when he lost control of his steering wheel and bumped into a pavement.

Suame MTTD Commander ASP Kingsley Kwame Kawodie confirmed the incident to Class News.

The driver, who was among the injured, is receiving treatment at the Tafo Government Hospital, while the dead have also been conveyed to the Komfo Anokye Hospital morgue awaiting autopsy.
