Programs Manager for Abusua 96.5 FM, Nana Obiri-Yeboah (Ike De-Unpredictable), has been nominated for the best late afternoon (Drive Time), show of the year 2016/2017 awards.
Also, Francis Addae (Debater One) of the Abusua Sports Crew has been nominated for the Best Sports Commentator of the year 2016/2017 awards.
Abusua FM, the latest addition to the Group of Media outlets under the management of Excellence In-Broadcasting (EIB Network), some seven months ago, the station has become a force to reckon with so far as mass market radio broadcasting is concerned.
EIB also operates Ultimate 106.9 FM in Kumasi. EIB is also set to roll out two more radio stations; Super FM (Tamale) and Cool FM (Cape Coast) in addition to existing properties.
The media group also owns Starr FM, LIVE FM, GH One TV, Kasapa FM (all in Accra), Empire FM (Takoradi), and Agoo FM (Nkawkaw) as well as the Daily Heritage Newspaper.
The 6th edition of the event which will be held at Golden Tulip Hotel on the 1st of April 2017 is aimed at honouring outstanding and distinguished radio personalities who exhibit exemplary leadership in the year under review in the Ashanti region.
Voting starts from March 1, 2017 and ends April 1, 2017 via whatsapp as well as the official facebook page of Foklex Media Awards.
