The Aburi Old Girls Association said on Monday that a committee has been set up to investigate reports of sexual harassment in the school.

A statement issued by Mrs Rosetta Annan, Vice President of the association, said the committee is to submit its recommendations within two weeks. It said the association took the decision at an emergency meeting following reports that a male tutor had allegedly raped students.

Press reports said the suspected culprit Mr. Daniel Agyarko Yeboah, mathematics and science tutor has bolted. He is alleged to have raped 17 students.
