Ms Cynthia Asare Bediako, the president of the year group, said the renovation of the staff quarters was their appreciation and commitment to the upliftment of the school.

She said as part of their silver jubilee celebration, they decided to take the entire organization of this year’s Speech and Prize-Giving Day celebration and also the renovation of the staff quarters. The Headmistress of the school, Mrs Sylvia Asempa, who received the keys to the refurbished quarters, called on old students to help transform the already on-going renovation of the sickbay into a two-storey building to contain three flats for teachers.

She said through the assistance of the GETFund, the school was able to renovate and transform an old assembly hall into a 180-capacity dormitory and that allowed the school to increase its intake this year. The Ashanti Region’s Old Girls’ Association of the school also presented tables and chairs worth millions of cedis to the school.
