Kukurantumi (E/R), June 02, GNA – The Executive of the Abuakwa North Constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has expressed shock at the decision of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the presidential aspirant of the NPP, not to visit the area as part of his tour of the Eastern Region. The constituency has therefore appealed to him to rescind his decision and visit the constituency to interact with the delegates.
This was contained in a statement the party issued on Tuesday. The statement said the perceived problem in the constituency for which Nana Akufo-Addo was refusing to visit the area had been resolved. The branch assured all presidential aspirants of the party that the constituency was peaceful and the delegates were ready to welcome any of them and listen to any message that they had for them. Nana Akufo-Addo is on a 10-day campaign tour of the region and he is expected to visit the Abuakwa North constituency on June 02. 02 June 10
