Abuakwa Branch of the Christian Daughters Association inaugurated

Abuakwa (Ash) July 22,-GNA- The St. Peters Catholic Church branch of the Christian Daughters Association at Abuakwa in the Nkawie District was inaugurated on Sunday. Members of the association are Catholics between the ages of 18 and 35 and are brought together to be developed in the Catholic faith among others.

Inaugurating the Association Mrs. Juliana Danquah, Kumasi Archdiocesan Organizer of the Christian Mothers Association, advised the ladies to be modest in their dressing for others to emulate and also portray themselves as the light of the World. She appealed to the members to serve as role models to their peers and to show respect to elderly people. Ms Diana Kyeremateng, president of St. Paul’s Catholic Church branch of the association at Amakom, said the young ladies would be trained in house- keeping skills, table manners and home management.
