Abstain from premarital relations/sex and dedicate your life to Christ for a more promising future. – Ladies advised

The caretaker of the Aboabo No. 3&4 Presbyterian Church near Dormaa Ahenkro, Catechist Kumi Acheaw, has implored young women to refrain from engaging in early sexual relationships and activities, urging them instead to devote their lives to Christ to secure a life of decency and a brighter future.

In an exclusive interview with GIFTs News, Catechist Kumi Acheaw acknowledged the challenges of resisting sexual temptations and living fully for Christ. However, he stressed the importance of maintaining a Christlike demeanor, placing our trust in Him, and overcoming worldly desires in all circumstances to ensure a brighter and more promising future.

He further advised the youth, particularly young women, to abstain from premarital sex to help reduce the incidence of teenage pregnancies. He emphasized the significance of living for Christ, adopting a life of decency and upright conduct, and ensuring that the proper customary marriage rites are performed to enhance one’s life of propriety.

Nana Aning Yeboah Asuamah, the Akyeremade Adontenhene and Chief of Kobedi No. 1 near Sunyani, observed that many parents, due to life’s hardships, often fail to ensure their children are enrolled in school. They frequently depart for their farms early, neglecting to see that their children attend school, which adversely impacts the educational opportunities of numerous children, particularly in rural communities. Consequently, he has vowed to support the children of Kobedi No. 1 within his jurisdiction, ensuring that those unable to participate in formal education are sponsored to acquire vocational skills for a promising future.
