Abraham Boadi is K.M.A Presiding Member

The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) has elected Abraham Boadi Assembly member for the ridge Nhyeaso electoral area as Presiding Member for the assembly.

He went unopposed.

He polled 110 yes as against 20 person who voted to no against him and was sworn in by Kumasi High Court Judge Justice Nicholas Abodakpi.

Addressing the house after his election, Abraham Boadi aka Opoman, promised to unite the assembly member s of KMA for smooth running of the Assembly.

He urged the assembly members to work hard to enable the electoral areas benefit from the assembly.

The assembly has begun the election process to elect one person to join the presiding member as representative in the upcoming council of state election expected to come off this week Thursday.
