Hon. John Kwame Adu Jack, the Member of Parliament for Dormaa Central, has articulated his unwavering dedication to facilitating the construction of the Dormaa Aboabo Roads and the Pamu to Gonokrom roads, which have been in a state of disrepair for many years. The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Dormaa Central constituency leveraged the poor condition of these roads during their campaign leading up to the 2024 election, successfully securing the seat for the first time in 24 years.
The Member of Parliament conveyed his earnest efforts to ensure the aforementioned roads are constructed. He characterized the roads as his lifeline within the Dormaa Central constituency.
Despite undertaking various developmental initiatives, including infrastructure for schools and hospitals, Honorable John Jack underscored that the most crucial projects for him, in light of his 2024 victory and the 2028 contest, are the beleaguered Aboabo and Pamu Roads. He believes that completing these projects will bring him relief, as he feels that while he pursues other developmental projects, failure to construct the Aboabo Roads will result in political repercussions in 2028, which he is keen to avoid. Thus, he remains committed to facilitating their construction to maintain the trust the people had in him and build strong fundamentals for his political future.
Hon. John Kwame Adu Jack, who has pledged as part of his 2024 campaign to secure a VRA substation for Dormaa Central to enhance effective electricity supply, has indicated that the plan for the substation is currently under consideration. Although he has not yet commenced this project in full force, his primary focus at present is directed towards the Aboabo and Paamu roads. Once these are addressed, he intends to proceed with the next project.
He emphasized that his approach is methodical, progressing step by step. Following his successful efforts in securing a DVLA office in Dormaa Ahenkro, his current priority is the development of the roads in Aboabo and Paamu. Subsequently, attention will be given to the VRA substation, followed by addressing network challenges within the Municipality.
