Abandoned projects to be rehabilitated

Akim Asamama (E/R), March 10, GNA – Mr Kwasi Abram, newly elected assembly-member for Akyem Asamama in the Atiwa District, has said all abandoned projects in the town are to be rehabilitated. He told his people at a meeting on Wednesday that due to the activities of illegal miners in the area, the source of drinking water had been polluted and there would be the need to dig six bore-holes to provide water for the people. At the same time there would be the need to rehabilitate the abandoned post office and appealed to the people to unite and involve themselves in communal activities.
