A retired teacher mistaken for a game

Ho, March 21, GNA – A hunter mistook a retired teacher, Mr Kofi Akpa, for a game and shot him dead during a group hunting expedition last week Thursday at Hodzokope in the Ho Municipality and failed in a bid to commit suicide.

Mr Kwadwo Appiagyei, Ho Municipal Police Commander, told the GNA on Tuesday that one Kofi Aglago, 23, fired on mistakenly fired on Mr Akpa and when he realised his mistake he turned the gun on his chin and pulled the trigger.

He said Aglago is responding to treatment at the hospital.
