A/R GJA boss picks forms to contest Builsa seat for NPP

The Ashanti regional Chairman of the Ghana Journalists Association, Listowell Yesu Buckason has picked up nomination forms to contest the primaries for the Builsa North constituency in the Upper East region on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party.

Buckason joins an elite class of Journalists including former Joy FM Morning show host Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and OKAY FM presenter Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey popularly known as Abeiku Santana who have expressed interest to join Ghana’s law house if given the nod by the NPP and the NDC respectively.

Agnes Chigabatia former Upper East deputy regional minister who endorsed the decision said Bukason can help with development in the constituency.

Buckason is likely to contest Timothy Awotiirim Ataboadey of the National Democratic Congress if he successfully sails through the primaries.
