A PPP government to establish petro-chemical Industry

A Government of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) would establish a petrol-chemical industry to create jobs in the country if voted into power in Election 2012; Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, Presidential aspirant of the party has disclosed.

He said this in Koforidua when he toured the New Juaben South Constituency on Monday, as part of his campaign tour to “sell” the ideals of the party to the electorate and to solicit their votes for the December poll.

Dr. Nduom also said when given the nod, he would establish a gold refinery in the country aimed to create jobs.

He said the PPP when voted into power would construct highways in the country to help connect majors business centres.

Dr. Nduom lamented that most of the major roads that connect businesses in the country were in poor condition, hampering economic activities.

On education, the presidential aspirant said the PPP would make basic education free and compulsory.**
