A.M.E. Zion ends quadrennial conference

Cape Coast, July 5, GNA – The second Quadrennial Conference of the A.M.E. Zion church ended at Cape Coast with an appeal to the Church and the State to continue to work together to promote peace and development. The four-day conference under the theme: “A changeless God in changing times”, was attended by delegates from the Western West Africa Episcopal District of the church.

Delegates were from Ghana, Togo, Liberia and USA.

The Right Reverend Warren Brown, Presiding Bishop of the Church, urged the delegates to have implicit faith in God, adding that it is only God who could solve their problems in times of adversity. He asked the ministers of the Church not to rest on their oars but continue to work hard to propagate the gospel to the people. Rt. Rev. Brown later led intercessory prayers for Ghana.
