A Former Canadian Primer arrives in Ghana

Accra, July 21, GNA – Former Canadian Prime Minister, Ms Kim Campbel, arrived in the country on Wednesday for a four-day official visit.

During the visit, which is at instant of the Madrid Club, Ms Campbel is expected to pay a curtsey call on President John Agyekum Kufuor, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nana Akufo Addo and the Minister of Defence, Dr Addo Kufuor.

She is also expected to address Ghanaian Parliamentarians on democracy and security at the Armed Forces Staff College.

Ms Campbel was met on arrival by Mr Joseph Kudibillah, Deputy Minister for Defence, the Canadian High Commissioner, Jean Piarre Bolduc and Major-General Nii Carl Coleman, Commandant at the Ghana Armed Forces Staff College.
