A centenarian is dead

Adeiso (E/R), April 7, GNA – Madam Florence Nartey,a 141-year-old woman who hails from Ayikumah in the Eastern Region, has died after a short illness. Madam Marther Addobea, a family spokesperson and a daughter of the deceased said Madam Nartey died on March 25, 2010 and would be buried at Ayikuma after a post-mortem at the Asamankese Government Hospital. The deceased who was a potter left behind eight children with three grandchildren.
