A $95,000 -dollar community centre for Ahyiresu

Kwahu Praso (E/R) Dec. 13, GNA – The people of Ahyiresu, near Kwahu Praso in the Asante Akyem District are being assisted by the Japanese government to put up a $95,000- dollar community centre to help improve on their living standards. Nana Agyapong Ntrah II, Chief of the town told the Ghana News Agency at Ahyiresu on Friday that the District Assembly is also offering assistance to the project whilst the people are providing communal labour. He said the facility, which was at the foundation level would provide a resource centre for the senior high school in the area, a library, meeting hall, health centre and a security post. Nana Ntrah expressed appreciation to the donor country and urged the community to double their efforts to complete the project on schedule.
