Ghanaians asked to repent, confess sins

Kumasi, March 23, GNA- Right Reverend Daniel Yinkah Sarfo, Anglican Bishop of Kumasi, has called on Ghanaians to use the Easter festivities to repent, confess their sins to God and their neighbours and forgive those who offended them.

He said “Let us be reconciled to God and our fellow human

beings so that we can be at peace with God our creator and our

fellow citizens. We need a peaceful and united Ghana for

progress and development.” Rt. Rev. Sarfo, who was delivering Good Friday sermon in

Kumasi on Friday, said the resurrection of Jesus Christ brought

hope and eternal life to humankind and believers in Christ. He called on Ghanaians to trust in God and hope that with

Christ in “the boat of our national life, it will be well with us all.” Rt. Rev. Sarfo expressed worry about murmuring and

grumbling from some people despite God’s blessings and said

such attitude displeased God. He said “Let us rather bless God and thank Him for

everything and it will be well with us.”
