Choose CPP for a better future – Nduom

WA, March 13, GNA – Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom, Presidential Candidate of the Convention People’s Party has called on Ghanaians to choose better social amenities and a good life over what he termed as “vindictive and divisive politics” by voting for the CPP in the next elections. “People have seen good, they have seen better and now they want the best and CPP is the best. So it is now time for the CPP to come back and work its magic in the country for the prosperity of all Ghanaians”, he said.

Dr Nduom said this during courtesy calls on elders, traditional and religious leaders in Wa during his three-day visit to the Upper West Region.

He said the CPP has always known that the Northern part of the country needed special attention in terms of education, social services, infrastructure, community development and job creation.

“You know how difficult it is after 50 years of independence to travel to your region from the Brong-Ahafo Region and to travel from Wa to Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region.

“A CPP administration, will make a special effort to ensure that the North gets what it is due to make it an area of opportunity and prosperity,” Dr Nduom said.

He assured people in the North that the CPP would not divide them and fan the flames of conflict in order to win power.

“The CPP will be the peacemaker for all the people. The CPP has done it before and will do it again”.

Dr Nduom asked all religious leaders to pray for the Party to be voted back to power to continue with the good work of Dr Kwame Nkrumah, which was truncated by the 1966 military coup.

Alhaji Yussif Jamani, an elder of the People’s National Convention Party advised the leadership of the CPP and PNC to come together to contest the general elections since that was the safest route to electoral victory for any Nkrumaist political grouping
