Jasikan, March 3, GNA- Mr Bob Charles Agbontor, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Buem constituency in the Jasikan District of the Volta Region, last Friday said he was capable of winning the seat for the party in the 2008 Election.
He said “Everything is working for me and I’m sure I will deliver the seat to the NPP in December.”
In an interview with Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Jasikan, Mr Agbontor, an Accra based businessman, said he had mastered a strategy to enable him to win the seat having lost narrowly in previous elections. He said his contribution to the socio-economic development of the area had made him popular which would propel him to the top. Mr Agbontor said this “year is my year” and that he was leaving no stone unturned to deliver the seat to the NPP for the rapid socio-economic development of the constituency.
He said “I want to work on the health, education and infrastructural development of the area and I know the people are aware of what I’m capable of doing and will not disappointment me this time.” Mr Agbontor said he would unite the people towards the reduction of poverty in the constituency and called on them to vote massively for him.
