Volta Region NYEP Coordinators get motorbikes

Ho, Feb. 26, GNA – Mr Kofi Dzamesi, Volta Regional Minister, on Tuesday presented the keys to 16 jungle motorbikes to district coordinators of the National Youth Employment Programme (NYEP) in the Region in Ho.

The motorbikes are to help the Coordinators to monitor and supervise personnel in the field. Mr Dzamesi urged them to improve upon their work and ensure the success of the programme in their respective districts. Mr Patrice Caesar Sowah, Volta/Eastern Zonal Coordinator, commended the district coordinators for their contributions towards the success of the Programme and expressed government’s commitment to motivate them to serve the nation better.

Mr Kofi Ahedor, Kpando District NYEP Coordinator on behalf of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to government for the motivation and appealed to the NYEP Secretariat to give the districts some allowance for the maintenance of the motorbikes.
