New Passports – Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Explains further

Accra – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said today that only passports issued before April three, 1995, are to be changed – whether they have expired or not rpt not. In a statement issued in Accra, the ministry said those passports measure 15 centimetres by 10 centimetres (six inches by four inches). The smaller type with 36 or 48 pages, issued with effect from April three, 1996, are still valid and are not rpt not to be renewed before their expiry date. Similarly, the latest type with 32 pages, which have particulars of applicants at page 31, are not to be renewed before the expiry date, the statement said.
