Asankrangwa ( W/R ) The Wassa Amenfi District Assembly has confirmed Mr Clement Nana Tandoh, as the disrict’s new Chief Executive . Mr Tandoh polled 61 votes, two against and 15 abstentions in the poll conducted by Mr Samuel Yorke Aidoo, Regional Electoral officer.. Mr Aidoo advised the Assembly to vote secretly to ensure free and fair elections. The former District Chief Executive, who is now the Member of Parliament ( MP ) for Amenfi West, Mr Abraham Kofi Asante, called for total support for Mr Tandoh to enable him to ensure the implementation of development projects in the district. President Jerry John Rawlings nominated Nana Tandoh for the post.
